  1. Find vendors & submit a quote request
    Search our site for the service you are interested in booking and you’ll get a list of appropriate vendors. Browse the profiles and see what each vendor has to offer. You can read past client reviews, look at photos, and watch videos. With thousands upon thousands of performers, entertainers, and services listed on Redsuperstar, you’re bound to find the perfect fit for your event. When you find a vendor you like, you can contact them directly.
  2. View booking packages and message vendors
    Some vendors will have booking packages on their profile page while some may need to customise their quotes. Either way, contact the vendor and they’ll review your event information to see if they’re available. If further details need to be discussed before getting or accepting a quote, you can easily communicate through our messaging tool or exchange phone numbers.
  3. Book the vendor
    Once you receive a quote you are happy with, you’re ready to book. If the booking package is not on the vendor’s profile page, you may request vendor to create the booking package on their profile so you can book. Just enter your payment and you’re all set. When you book through Redsuperstar, you can rest easy knowing you’re protected by our Worry-Free Guarantee.

Additional protection

When you communicate or send payments outside of Redsuperstar, it makes it harder for us to protect your information which puts you at higher risk for fraud and other security issues. If a vendor directs you to communicate or book outside of our platform, we encourage you to decline their request and instead, ask them to send you a proper quote/message through the system so that you can proceed with the booking safely. If you receive a request to share personal information or a message that you feel is fraudulent, please let us know by contacting us.

Keep things organized

The Redsuperstar platform allows you to communicate with multiple vendors, compare quotes, and book your event all in one place. Don’t jump between texts, phone calls, Facebook messages, etc. Do it all on Redsuperstar! All your event details and booking info will be stored in your dashboard for easy reference when you need it. Our site is 100% mobile friendly so you can check your account from anywhere at any time.

In the days leading up to your event, we’ll send you notifications with all your booking details. Once the event is over, we’ll follow up with you and make it super easy to leave a review for the vendor who helped make your event a success!

When you book on Redsuperstar, confirming an agreement and paying vendors is easy. We collect the vendor’s total booking price in one payment, and if the vendor requests a deposit out of that total, we’ll send it to them before the event. The balance payment is held by Redsuperstar and sent one business day after your event. If you need to cancel a booking, your refund will be determined by the cancellation policy included in the booking agreement for your event.

Cancellation policies

Each vendor sets their own cancellation policy per booking. They will select their preferences for both the deposit and the balance payment.

As vendors may have different cancellation policy, you are advise to read the cancellation policy of the vendor so as not to have any misunderstanding.

Here is an example of one possible cancellation policy:

In this example, both the deposit and balance payments are refundable depending on when you cancel the event. If you canceled this event 15 days before the event, you’d receive a full refund of both the deposit and the balance. If you canceled 10 days before the event, you would only receive a refund of the balance payment. If you canceled 1 day before the event, no refund would be issued.

All refundable payments will have a specific cancellation window like in the scenario above. Some vendors may opt for an always-refundable deposit or balance payment, which means you can cancel at any time and receive a refund for that particular payment. Vendors may also choose non-refundable payments, in which case regardless of when you canceled, no refund would be given.


In order to receive a refund, you must cancel your event through Redsuperstar. When you cancel, you’ll be given a summary of the cancellation policy and the payments you will be refunded. Once we’ve confirmed your cancellation, we will issue the refund to the credit card that was used for payment. This process could take 1-2 business days. Once the refund is issued, it may take up to 3-5 business days to post to your account.

If the cancellation policy states that no refund is owed, Redsuperstar will not be able to return any payments to you directly. However, you are welcome to discuss the issue with the vendor to see if they’d be willing to work with you to reschedule their services or give you a partial refund. If they agree to a partial refund, that should be arranged directly between you and the vendor.

Where to find the cancellation policy

When you get a new quote, there will be a link included that says View cancellation policy.”This will open a dialogue box that explains the refund policy for both the deposit payment and balance payment. When you click Book Now to proceed to the checkout page, you can review the terms again in the event summary above the price breakdown if needed. Once you’ve booked the event, you can always reference the cancellation policy in your agreement.

Vendor cancellations

The cancellation policies mentioned above will only be applicable if you cancel your event. If the vendor cancels the agreement, you are covered by our Worry-Free Guarantee. You will receive a full refund of your payment, and we’ll also do everything we can to help you find a replacement for your event.

Redsuperstar applies a small booking fee to every booking made through our site. We collect this fee in order to cover costs associated with taking credit card payments, distributing deposits and balances, and general maintenance to the site so it remains safe and easy to use for both you and the client.

The booking fee is applied to your total booking price but will be split between your two payouts, with a portion being taken from each. For example, if you’re on a free plan and someone book a gig for a total of $300, the 12.5% booking fee will be $37.50.

IMPORTANT: Booking fees are only applied when a booking is confirmed and payment is made by the client. You will never be charged for receiving leads or sending quotes. The client will pay your total fee at the time of booking. You can withdraw the payment into your bank account upon completion of your gig or service. Kindly go to your booking dashboard to submit a withdrawal request. Redsuperstar will send you the withdrawal to you one to two business days after the withdrawal request.

We charge a 12.5% booking fee to service providers on free plans and 5% booking fee to service providers on paid plans for every successful booking on Redsuperstar. The fee is inclusive of the transaction fees charged by our payment gateway provider and to cover our administrative costs. As such, there are no hidden fees to be paid or borne by you except the service fee that is stated on our pricing plans.

When you’re tasked with marketing your business, networking, negotiating, managing your finances, and delivering your services, time is a precious commodity. Our booking platform helps you save time with automated processes so that you can focus on your talent. When you create a booking package on RedSuperstar, you can customize your settings like date availability, booking duration, minimum and maximum booking window (into the future) , set refunds and cancellation policy. And for quotes that require more information, you can modify your saved settings at any time rather than starting from scratch.

Guaranteed balance payments & cancellation protection

Your clients will pay deposits and balances in one easy payment at the time of booking. The deposit will be delivered to you in advance (exact payout date is determined by your cancellation policy), and the balance will be sent 1-2 business days after the event. This simplified booking process creates a better experience for clients (which helps you get more gigs) and ensures you get your full payment as promised. No need to chase down money in advance or on the day of the event through a separate payment system. Let us take care of that, and you take care of rocking at your gig!

With our customizable cancellation policies, you can protect yourself from client cancellations. You can choose how long before an event a client must cancel in order to receive a refund of the balance. If the client cancels outside of that cancellation window, RedSuperstar will still send you the balance payment. This way, if you lose a gig at the last minute, you won’t lose out on the money!

Asking them to contact you directly or leading them to book you in some other way can often cause alarm, or at the very least, confuse or inconvenience them. And if something goes wrong, we’re unable to mediate, reimburse funds, or resolve disputes that can arise. Booking on RedSuperstar ensures all of our users are safeguarded, so you can rest easy knowing we’re there every step of the way.

One-on-one support

Our Customer Happiness team is devoted to our community, so when you need us, we’ve got your back. Our platform keeps a record of your communication and booking details so we can promptly settle disputes and miscommunications. But if an issue arises with an outside booking, we’re unable to provide the same exceptional support. Booking through RedSuperstar ensures your gigs are secure and your clients’ events are successful!

When a booking is confirmed on Redsuperstar, we expect our members to honor that agreement. However, in the event that you must cancel your gig, please follow the procedure outlined below.

  1. Message the client

    If you are unable to honor an agreement, let your client know immediately by sending a message through the thread attached to the booking. This creates a record of your cancellation notice. We recommend that you call the client as well, just to ensure they got your message and know that you are canceling.

  2. Contact Redsuperstar

    Notify us immediately that you are unable to complete your gig so that we can begin the various procedures for canceling the booking. This will include talking with the event planner, issuing a refund, and possibly assisting them with finding a replacement. You may contact us here

  3. Return your deposit and pay service fees

    If we have already sent your deposit payment to you, you must return the full amount to Redsuperstar as quickly as possible, so that we can issue a refund to your client. In addition, when you are the one to cancel the booking, you must cover all associated booking fees. That includes the service fee that was taken from your deposit.

    You can return the deposit and pay the fees: via Bank Transfer
    Send money to our bank account. Be sure to include the client name and/or booking number (which you can find at the top of your agreement) in a note with your payment.

Failure to return a deposit or pay service fees could result in your profile being removed from Redsuperstar. If you repeatedly cancel bookings, we reserve the right to remove your profile from Redsuperstar indefinitely. We want to ensure a positive booking experience for all our users, so we cannot have members on our site that cannot be trusted to honor their agreements.

Pro tip: In order to avoid unnecessary cancellations, take extra precautions to ensure you don’t get double booked. When you book a gig outside of Redsuperstar, check your Redsuperstar Dashboard to see if you have any active quotes for that same day. If so, cancel them so the client will no longer be able to book you for their event.

No show policy

Canceling the day of the event, or not going to the event at all, is considered a “no show.” If this happens, you’ll be required to return all money Redsuperstar has sent to you plus all service fees. Failure to do so could result in being removed from Redsuperstar.

Event/client cancellations

If the event itself is canceled, or the client no longer wishes to use your services, this is handled a bit differently. We still encourage both parties to communicate the cancellation through the message thread and that Redsuperstar be notified of the cancellation, but this will be the client’s responsibility. They will cancel the booking through their account and we’ll automatically issue refunds based on the cancellation policy you have for that event.


We know that sometimes things happen that are beyond your control. Everything from medical emergencies to simple misunderstandings can result in unfortunate cancellations. We try to be as understanding as possible of each person’s situation, and in some cases, certain exceptions may be made. These exceptions are completely at Redsuperstar’s discretion.

Not performing your booked gig, or even canceling on the day of the event, is considered a no show and should be avoided at all costs. When you do this, it not only reflects negatively on yourself and on Redsuperstar, but it also ruins someone’s event. If this does happen, you must report it to Redsuperstar and you’ll be required to return any payments you received plus cover the cost of all service fees.

When possible, if you must cancel, you should do so with as much notice as possible.

Report your no show

As soon as you miss your event, or know that you are going to miss it, you should notify Redsuperstar immediately. Report it by contacting us.

Obviously, you should contact your client as well with an apology and let them know what happened. Perhaps you can reschedule rather than cancel. Either way, let them know that you’ve notified Redsuperstar of what happened. If you do not report it to us, and they do, we will reach out to you to confirm the no show and request that you return any payments you’ve received up to that point and cover the service fees.

Return your payments

The Worry-Free Guarantee that we promise event planners protects them in the case of a vendor cancellation or no show. This means they will receive a full refund of their payment (deposit, balance, and service fee). We require vendors that do not show up to events to cover that entire amount.

The balance for a gig isn’t sent to you until one to two business days after the event. If Redsuperstar is not notified about the no show before that payment is sent, you’ll be required to return those funds along with the advance deposit you received plus all service fees. We will provide you with the total amount you need to return in order to continue using Redsuperstar.

You may return the payments via Bank Transfer:
Send the money to Redsuperstar. Be sure to include the client name and/or booking number (which you can find at the top of your agreement) in a note with your payment.

Failure to return all owed payments and service fees could result in your profile being removed from Redsuperstar.

Repeat violations

If you repeatedly cancel bookings at the last minute or do not show up for your gigs, we will remove your profile from Redsuperstar permanently. We want to ensure a positive booking experience for all our users, so we cannot have members on our site who fail to honor their agreements.

Reporting A Superstar Or Service Provider

RedSuperstar is a community site. We rely on your feedback to keep the site friendly and safe. We like to think of it as you, the RedSuperstar community, policing the site and keeping out the bad guys.
So on each listing there is a button “Report” where you can bring a listing to our attention. You will be asked to state a reason and describe.

General Listing Rules

The following activities are prohibited from RedSuperstar Singapore:

Any listings that do not comply with the RedSuperstar policy will be removed from the site. Additionally, users that violate such policies will be blocked from using RedSuperstar in the future.

Our general rule is that you may not list, book or sell or services that are illegal in your country of residence, or that are not bought or sold in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws relating to the service you list, buy or sell.

  • Posting a listing in a language other than English. All listngs must be posted in English although translations in other languages in addition to English text is OK.
  • Posting a listing that contravenes the RedSuperstar General Terms of Use
  • Posting an item for sale that is illegal to own, buy or sell in your area of residence
  • Posting a listing that is not descriptive enough (listings that do not provide enough detail will be placed on hold or removed as this makes for a bad browsing experience
  • Posting a listing that is discriminatory on race / religion / nationality
  • Posting duplicate listings in multiple categories
  • Posting listings using multiple different email addresses
  • Posting a listing that serves no other purpose other than to send traffic to a web site
  • Posting a multi-level marketing or other prohibited job
  • Posting a listing that contains adult, mature or erotic content. 
  • Posting a listing that defames anyone or contains “hate speech”
  • Posting opinions, notices, and discussion topics not in the discussion forums (where available)
  • Posting deliberately misleading information

You are not allowed to include a web site address or any form of URL in the description body of your listing. Only users who are on a ‘Paid Plan’ (ie. Professional or Premium plans) can insert their website link on their contact information.

The following examples are URL links that are not allowed

  1. Link to additional product information
  2. Link to a page with more pictures
  3. Link to a page with an alternate contact method

Please note that links on RedSuperstar will be removed without any notification. Should you continue to violate our listing policy, you may be suspended from listing on RedSuperstar.

We have designated area for users to fill in their contact information. Users on ‘Free Plan’ can only add their email address while users on ‘Paid Plan’ are allowed to add their telephone number and social media accounts page.

This helps to differentiate the different subscription plans that users are paying. At the same time, it provides the platform a clean and user friendly experience when clients are trying to search for a talent.

All users are not allowed to add their contact information eg. email, telephone, address, social media accounts  etc. in non-designated area such as ‘Description’ or ‘Awards and Achievements’ area.
