Catch the telecast of Starhub Night of Stars, tonight (8th Dec) at 7pm on Channel 111/825! I perform the opening medley of the theme songs for various hit series showing on @starhub including Hotel Del Luna, 延禧攻略, He’s So Psychometric among many others. It was my first time performing in Korean and Cantonese, not to mention while suspended high up on a swing, in a giant dress, and later, standing on super high heels. BUT WE DID IT!
Big love to @fengthemusician for the mega jig-saw puzzle of an arrangement, @adrienneceramics for helping with my Korean enunciation, @jasonwangwei for recording a velvety spoken sample of the Cantonese lines, and my entire team for coming through for 姐姐 as always ❤️

It’s pretty daunting to have write a song AND record a demo, all in a day’s work. It was so refreshing to hear what my mentee Namie Namira Rasman came up with, and together we explored various lyrical themes as well as musical motifs. The result is modern and mythical all at once! I can’t wait tor you to hear it!
