Simone Heng

Simone Heng is a radio broadcaster, sought-after emcee and professional keynote speaker. Simone’s topic of specialism is Human Connection but she also speaks on Personal Branding and Personal Empowerment. She has spoken at both Google (2018) and hosted at the United Nations (2017) . In 2019 she was awarded Asia’s Top Youth Marketeer 2019 at the Asia Youth Women Netizen Marketing Excellence Awards.

Simone has worked as a broadcaster in Australia, Asia and the Middle East for brands like Virgin Radio, Souther Cross Austereo, HBO Asia and CNN for over a decade. She is currently based in Singapore where she is on air with the city’s leading English-language radio station Class 95FM.

Simone began her career in Singapore in 2005 as an entertainment TV host for regional cable network, HBO Asia. In late 2008 she was offered a package to move to Dubai where she went on to establish herself as an announcer for Virgin Radio International as part of its heavily buzzed-about Dubai station. During her 5 years in Dubai, Simone also hosted CNN International’s “CNN Go” luxury special. Simone was nominated four years in a row as Personality of the Year in the Best in Dubai Awards.

As an emcee, Simone’s live hosting skills have been employed by some of the most exciting and high profile lifestyle events on the planet, including the 8th University Scholars Leadership Symposium at the United Nations, the launch of the world’s tallest hotel, The JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, The World Travel Awards, The Dubai International Film Festival, The Prudential Art Awards, The Singapore International Film Festival and The Asian Business Leaders Forum Awards. She has captivated audience members that have included ambassadors, United Nations youth leaders, heads of state, knights of the British Empire and A-list celebrities.
